A global company active in pharmaceuticals and consumer products was confronted with annual price increases of > 10% for one of the food ingredients.

Approach

Two directors (one from the USA, other from Europe) were asked to turnaround this undesirable situation.

Achievements

As one of the 2 lead negotiators we reduced the spend with 50% after a world-wide sourcing and negotiation process.
